OKC Beautiful Still Looking for its Beauty

OKC Beautiful recently launched their 4th iteration of their logo, in the 40 years of the organization (the last being from 1991), which we believe was designed by PixelMongers. Overall, we are not impressed by the relaunch and hope it will be better dealt with in the future. The logo features a flower, an element dragged from the last version, which wasn't working to begin with. This, pair withed the awkward juxtaposition of the K, gives your double eyesore. It is also seemingly apparent, they took some major hints from Coolgreens as far as type and colors are concerned. We want the logo to want us to make OKC great and beautiful, not make us healthy food.

Along with logo, there was also updates to OKCBeautiful.com, which we aren't totally sure what all changes were made other than the floods of color in the background (which changes every other refresh). It's definately a bit overboard. We can understand using green, but the red is overkill. Literally.
