Redbud Brewing Blooms New Identity

/ Comments (2)

We were tipped last week about Redbud Brewing Company's new logo, designed by Radfive. It doesn't appear it has reached the public quite yet, as we further learned, it will be rolling out when their batch of new beer is ready in a couple weeks.

The new identity is a definate upgrade. The new mark steers away from the clip-art-ish tree and creates a more unique mark. The R and treatment give the company some prestige and a bold presence (rather than the old logo, that looks like something my mom could have done with microsoft publisher in 1995). A couple issues we have: the buds don't really look like buds at a distance, and the goblet at the bottom seems to be an after thought that doesn't tie in with the rest of the mark.

This new look will serve the brewery well which makes it a great lock up in my book.

I can see this being used well in one color like on a bottle cap or a t-shirt.

It also lends itself to being used in parts and pieces for all the different uses of an identity for a brewery (shirts, bottle caps, labels, glasses, promo-items, signs, stickers, coasters, boxes, etc...)

Looks like a winner to me :)

@clint We agree. Curious on how the packaging will come out as well.
