Open Casting Call for August: Osage County
The film August: Osage County, starring Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, is set to start shooting in Oklahoma in late September. An open casting call has been scheduled for this Saturday at Tulsa's Promenade Mall, 4107 S. Yale, Ave. “August: Osage County” is a drama about the Weston family, who come together when their alcoholic patriarch goes missing. Written by Oklahoman Tracy Letts and directed by John Wells, the film is based on Letts’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Auditions will be held from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in the upper level of the mall, across from The Gap. No appointments are necessary. According to the Oklahoma Film & Music Office, those unable to attend the open call in person are invited to submit by mail or email: “Please include a recent, clear photo and tell us your name, mailing address, email address, all phone numbers, height and all clothing sizes, including shoes.
