Wayne Weeds the City

The WOMB: Unkown Artist Painting the Sidewalk in front of the WOMB on 9th Street

We love what Wayne is bringing to the 9th and Broadway area. He's really created an iconic building in our city. Totally rad. However, has he gone too far? He had the sidewalk painted with weeds of pots.

We don't condone drug use here at The OKC Egotist, however, we do we love that Wayne and that artist (who are you btw?) have the guts to bring controversial art to our city.

What do you think? Should we have weed on the streets of OKC? Does this make you want to paint something on the streets of OKC?

Sure we should have weed on the street. I like the color contrast, and despite the plant being an illegal one, it is a beautiful one. From a different point of view, it makes a unique conceptual statement in that, it is here, it is all around us, and whether an individual indulges in it's use or not, it is not going away anytime soon.
