The Chamber released a short, promoting the benefits of being in city and state. I have to admit, I even want to move here.....oh wait, I already do. We're just glad they used more than the Thunder to spruce up the city. Speaking of being on the rise, we have some new things happening here at OKCEgo. We've been slacking on providing local features, so be on the look this year for more local editorials and interviews with local creatives. It's going to be a great year.
Microsoft sure does hit the spot for any kid growing up in the 90s, but it seems like they're hitting a narrow market. The commercial was clever, but you've already lost us IE. You're like the friend we had in middle school, that ended up moving to a distant land of unstability and crashing.
Still not a fan of the monitor head man logo Staplegun tends to throw on their video content, but we'll put that aside while we enjoy some of the work they've been out this year........
Local film makers, Toy Gun Films, has put out their newest short, Half Good Killer for all to enjoy. It's an interesting and dark film that follows a young soldier "fighting for an African rebel force struggles to survive the war he was thrust into as he reawakens to the life he was destined to lead." You can view the full movie below, but recommend a higher res viewing on Vimeo.
