Most designers have endured at least one web design training course in the past ten years, but we promise that this one is different. Muse is a new software application from Adobe. Muse uses a similar design approach as other Adobe tools like InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, to enable graphic designers to plan, design and publish HTML websites without being restricted to templates and without needing to learn to write code. In just one day you’ll learn how to use this deep set of design and layout features to deliver professional, highly designed websites based on the latest standards.

    AIGA Members: $15
    Non-Members: $65

All participants must bring their laptops to this event.

Looks like the folks down in the Plaza are looking to give the area a (much needed) fresh look....only it's going to cost a few bucks. and that's where you come in. They were kind enough to provide small rewards for donors as well. Check out all the information here.

Plaza Mural Video from James Harber on Vimeo.

Also, here's a sneak peak of the art. Pretty cool, although the character kind of looks like the long lost hooded son of Prometheus and the Last Airbender.
